Emfound Empowers Young Minds Through Children's Day Skills Acquisition Outreach in Keffi, Nasarawa State
As part of its Children's Day 2026 activities, Emfound successfully held a Skills Acquisition Outreach in Keffi, bringing together children and young people for a day of learning, inspiration, and empowerment.
The outreach was organized with the belief that every child deserves not only to be celebrated but also to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a brighter future.
Participants were engaged in practical and enlightening sessions covering Career Guidance, Baking, Liquid Soap Production, and Hair Styling. These sessions were carefully designed to expose the children to opportunities that can help shape their future aspirations and develop entrepreneurial thinking.
One of the highlights of the programme was the Career Guidance session, where participants were encouraged to dream big, pursue education, develop positive values, and make informed decisions about their future. The session provided an avenue for meaningful conversations about purpose, ambition, and personal growth.
The practical skills sessions generated excitement among participants as they learned the basics of baking, liquid soap production, and hair styling. Beyond the fun and interaction, these activities introduced the children to skills that can be further developed into valuable vocational opportunities.
The enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation displayed throughout the programme served as a reminder of the enormous potential that exists within every child when given the right platform to learn and grow.
Emfound extends heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers, donors, supporters, and partners whose contributions made this outreach possible. Your support continues to create opportunities and transform lives.
As we celebrate the success of the Keffi outreach, we remain committed to our mission of giving life meaning through service, empowerment, and community impact.
Together, we are building a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
