Celebrating Children's Day Through Empowerment: Emfound's Kwara Skills Acquisition Outreach
In commemoration of Children's Day 2026, Emfound successfully carried out a Skills Acquisition Outreach in Kwara, providing children and young people with an opportunity to learn practical skills, gain valuable knowledge, and build confidence for the future.
The outreach formed part of Emfound's ongoing commitment to investing in the next generation through empowerment, education, and community development.
Participants took part in interactive sessions focused on Career Guidance, Baking, Liquid Soap Production, and Hair Styling. These activities were designed to expose the children to practical skills while encouraging creativity, self-development, and entrepreneurship.
The Career Guidance segment inspired participants to think positively about their future and recognize the importance of education, discipline, and perseverance in achieving their goals. Facilitators shared practical insights and encouraged the children to believe in their abilities regardless of their current circumstances.
The hands-on skills training sessions were met with enthusiasm as participants learned basic techniques in baking, liquid soap production, and hair styling. The excitement and eagerness to learn demonstrated the impact that practical knowledge can have in boosting confidence and expanding possibilities.
Beyond the lessons and demonstrations, the outreach created an atmosphere of encouragement, interaction, and hope. It was a reminder that empowering children today is an investment in stronger communities tomorrow.
Emfound is deeply grateful to all donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who contributed towards the success of this outreach. Your generosity and commitment continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
As we reflect on the success of the Kwara outreach, we remain inspired to continue creating opportunities that help children discover their potential and pursue their dreams.
Together, we are giving life meaning, one child, one family, and one community at a time.
